Anyone know of any challenging, well-done ROM hacks?

Excluding any Final Fantasy ROM hacks, are there any hard, challenging ones? I'm currently playing through SMRPG Hard Mode, and it's a lot more challenging than the original.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a ROM hack that's well-done and hard.

*The patch is fine, I don't need the ROM.
