um nerds are like REALLY smart and and wear glasses and you know like steve urkle. geeks look like your average person but are like technology smart

yes but urban dictionary says nerd is a term used to express that some one knows alot about a subject and people envy you or something like that .

The way I see it, its the exact same word, used to make fun of people. Its just spelled differently.
